Since when was she "the first choice for Whedon's shelved Wonder Woman project"? I can't remember hearing even a passing reference to her name back then. I don't have a problem with the lady, but they seem to be referring to things that never happened, or happened in such a tiny area that most people following the WW news didn't hear it.

Joss specifically mentioned her as a prospect for WW a few years back, but that was before the script he wrote was rejected. I recall the post on Whedonesque.

As great a character as Wonder Woman is (smart, tough, beautiful, righteous, blatently into S&M, etc), I think the upcoming TV show needs to hit the mark quickly or the character will take the back seat again for another twenty odd years.
